Aftercare
Your electrology treatment does not end once your session is over. Your skin has gone through some extensive processes and in order for it to quickly recover, we recommend the following After-care instructions:
Avoid touching the treated area.
Apply ice cubes locally for redness and swelling.
Clean with hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, witch hazel, or Sea Breeze astringent for three days.
Avoid using makeup on treated area for 24 hours.
Avoid the use of saunas and spas.
No sunbathing!
If scabbing should occur, avoid picking. All materials and instruments used in the treatment have either been sterilized, sanitized or disinfected.
Moistuize with Aloe Vera Gel or light non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) moisturizer.
It is important that you continue an after-care program at home to help your skin heal and to avoid unnecessary irritation.
